Owner/Director
Michael is a licensed funeral director that joined the firm in July of 2006. Son of John and Cynthia O’Halloran, he is a St. Paul Academy lifer, graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a degree in business, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota Mortuary Science Program. Michael is co-owner and President of the funeral homes, a St. Paul Rotarian and a member of the St. Paul Serra Club. Living in St. Paul, he is the 4th generation of O’Hallorans’ to continue the longtime family tradition of quality funeral service in St. Paul and surrounding areas. He enjoys traveling, playing golf and drums, and spending time with his family.
Owner/Director
John is from St. Paul. He graduated from Holy Spirit Grade School in 1953, Cretin High School 1957 and the University of Notre Dame 1961. He served a year in the 828 US Army Signal Corps and was discharged at Fort Stewart, Georgia in 1962. After receiving his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 1964, he joined the family funeral home operated by his mother Dolores O’Halloran Countryman. Upon the retirement of his brother in 1991, John became sole owner of the funeral homes. John has since purchased a third funeral home, Dares Funeral Home in Elk River, MN from his friend Bob Dare in 2001. John is married to Cynthia Melady and has three children: Emily, who lives and works in Manhattan, John Carlos, a St. Paul Police officer, and Michael, who is continuing the family tradition of quality funeral service.

Kevin graduated from Elk River Area High School in 1992. He attended the University of Minnesota-Morris, before transferring to the Twin Cities Campus to complete his degree in Mortuary Science.
He is a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Burns Township, where he completed his elementary education.
Kevin currently resides in Ramsey with his wife, Jennifer, and their 2 daughters, Lillian and Eleanor.
He is humbled to have the opportunity to serve families in the community where he was raised.

Funeral Director
Erica was raised in Northfield. She is a 1995 graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.
She is a member of Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker/Big Lake. Her children are daughters Nicolette, and Blair (son-in-law Sloan); and pets François, Gertrude, and Connie.
Called by God at a young age to serve as a Funeral Director, she counts herself blessed.
She is an intense agate hunter, long-standing Vikings fan, and adventurous traveler.

Christina Guerri grew up in Olivia, MN. She attended college in the Fargo/Moorhead area, earning a degree in Gerontology; and the University of Minnesota earning her degree in Mortuary Science.

Kailyn grew up in the Fargo/Moorhead area. She
attended St. Cloud State University earning an associates degree in Liberal
Arts in 2020; and the University of Minnesota where she earned her bachelor’s
degree in Mortuary Science in 2022.
Kailyn currently lives in Clear Lake with her husband, Owen, and their four dogs, Winston, Remington, Theodore, and Pippington.
Certified Pre-Planning Consultant
Jackie began working as a Pre-Planning Consultant in 2005. As a Certified Pre-Planning Consultant, Jackie educates people with compassion on a very difficult subject. She ensures that their wishes are followed through and that their unique story is shared with family and friends.
By assisting families in completing dignified, cost-conscious funeral arrangements and pre-funding options, Jackie brings peace of mind to families and their loved ones.
Jackie is a native of Eagan, MN and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Minnesota-Metropolitan. She has two daughters: Natalie and Megan.

Funeral Director Assistant
Joe was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated
from Patrick Henry High School in 1983. After nearly 40 years in the printing
industry, Joe made the choice to change careers and started serving families as
a Funeral Director Assistant in August 2023.
Joe lives in Elk River with his wife, Andrea, where
they raised 3 children. Joe has been a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church
in Elk River since 1996 where he is an active member of the Knights of
Columbus. Joe enjoys his free time being a grandparent, fishing, and hunting.

Tony was born in NE Minneapolis, he attended the U of M and St. Cloud State. He is a retired business owner for Elk River, where he operated Mikols Photography, Framing & Art Gallery. Since his retirement he has worked part time for the Elk River Police Dept, the Sherburne Co. Sheriffs Office and Dares Funeral Home. He is married to Patricia and they have 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter.

John was born in Appalachia
and grew up there and in Washington DC. He served in the Air Force and the MN
Air Guard, John put down roots in Minnesota with a girl from Columbia Heights
and over 53 years went from talking Hillbilly to Minnesotan. John worked in
retail optical customer service.

Margueritte
grew up on a dairy farm in Southern Minnesota. She graduated from Albert Lea
High School in 1965. She retired in 2017 from the University of Minnesota after
working in the medical school for 42 years.
Margueritte
has two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She enjoys
reading and loves cats! Margueritte lives in Elk River.

Matthew Hennan. Born and raised in Elk River, Minnesota and currently living with his family. He graduated from Elk River High School and received a degree in Criminal Justice from North Hennepin Community College.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending lots of time coaching his two boys in hockey, football and baseball.
Matt will be attending the University of Minnesota to obtain a degree in Mortuary Science to become a funeral director and continue to help serve others.

Ron was born and raised
in Monticello. He graduated from Monticello High School in 1964. He served in
the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1970. From 1970 to 1984, Ron owned and operated
Men’s Apparel stores in Elk River and Monticello.
Ron has been married to
Beverly since 1977. Together they have 2 daughters, Kristin and Andrea, as well
as 8 grandchildren.
Ron’s services at
Peterson-Grimsmo have been appreciated since 2010 when he began working for his
brother, Roger Carlson. He is excited to continue working for John and Michael
O’Halloran and care for our families.

Bob joined the
Peterson-Grimsmo team and has served in this role for over 20 years after
following a lifelong career in retail management.
He and his wife, Lynn,
make their home in Becker and have 3 adult children and several grandchildren.
