I remember when we were all kids in New Hope and my family would come over to the Simertz for a picnic and to go swimming. Uncle Bill would be at the grill making burgers and hotdogs and Aunt Jerry in the kitchen making something delicious. Finally after a long day of cooking and herding us kids (I think sometimes there were 12+ of us) Uncle Bill would finally coming running and do the biggest cannonball into the pool!! Then we would play and play with him until long after sunset and our shivering bodies were grabbing for the warm towels from Aunt Jerry. RIP dear Uncle and Aunt. I’m so glad you are forever together again.

Bill and Jerry made my hobby/job in the porcelain world so much fun! I would look for them at every show or meeting. Big smiles all around! Good stories and so much information.  They were wonderful teachers of the trade and I will miss them dearly!
