William "Bill" E. Hellerstedt Jr.

William (Bill) E. Hellerstedt Jr. died Friday, January 17, 2025 of heart failure at the age of 72. He was born August 20, 1952.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine A. and William E. Hellerstedt Sr.

Bill is survived by his wife, Leslie Hellerstedt; daughters, Angela Hellerstedt and Tiffany (Troy) Crank; grandchildren, Ashton and Amanda Crank; siblings, Karen (Steve) House, Bob (Mary) Hellerstedt, Tom, Cheryl(Don) Gustafson, Chris (Reb) Moshier,NancyMoen, and Mary Gryz;uncles, Bud Fiedler and Dave Fiedler; many nieces and nephews notably, Nick (Haily); many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was a very successful advisory earning many awards during his career. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but his real love was snowmobiling in the mountains of Wyoming. Later in life he enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill’s name may be directed to the American Heart Association.

A Celebration of Bill’s life will be at Noon on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 11:00 AM.
