Wesley C. McDaniel

Wesley McDaniel, born on May 29, 1988, passed away on Saturday December 17, 2023 leaving his loved ones in deep sorrow. Wesley was a devoted family man, a hard worker, and someone who selflessly lent a helping hand to anyone in need without hesitation.

Survived by his beloved wife, Alesha McDaniel, and their three children, Averie, Kinsley, and Brayden McDaniel. Wesley cherished his role as a loving husband and doting father. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he always put their needs above his own.

Wesley was also blessed with a caring family, Grandmother Fran Wallace, Mother Deborah Johnson, and Stepfather, Jeffrey Johnson, who provided love and support throughout his life. He shared a special bond with his brothers, Christopher (Sarah) McDaniel and Eric Johnson and his niece and nephews. He became a cherished son to Alesha’s parents, Steve and Julie Solem, and brother to Matthew and Alexa Rettke.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Wesley can attest to his unwavering integrity. He was a man of honesty who never shied away from speaking the truth, regardless of the circumstances. His straightforward nature earned him the respect and admiration of all who crossed his path.

Aside from his dedication to his family, Wesley was also recognized for his strong work ethic. He approached every task with diligence and commitment, setting an example for those around him. His perseverance and determination were evident in his professional endeavors.

Wesley's sudden departure has left a void that cannot be filled. His absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. As we mourn the loss of this remarkable individual, we will forever remember him as a selfless, genuine, and caring person who made a positive impact on the lives of many.

To honor and celebrate Wesley's life, a gathering will take place on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at 10:00 am, with a service commencing at 11:00 am at Eagle Brook Church, 1100 US Hwy 10, Anoka, MN 44303. This will be a time to come together,  sharing cherished memories and honoring the profound impact Wesley had on all who knew him.

In honoring Wesley McDaniel's memory, let us strive to emulate his unwavering honesty, his dedication to family, and his willingness to help others. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that his legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
