Warren E. Scott

Scott, Warren Edger, passed away on Wed. Sept. 18th., 2019 at the Brookdale Senior Living facility in Champlin, Minnesota.  He was born to Edger and Margaret (Nutter) Scott on Feb. 8th., 1927 in St. Paul, Minnesota where he grew up. From a very early age, Warren loved working on cars and even worked as a member of A.J. Foyt Sr. pit crew.  He was one of the original "need for speed" guys. His work caused him to move several times to several different parts of the country. Warren married Shirley Ann (Kennedy) Scott and they had 6 children.  After Shirley’s death, Warren married Gladys (Thompson) Scott and welcomed her 4 children to his extended family. Warren leaves behind his only sister, Shirley M. (Scott) Sabinsk; sons, Michael (Nancy), Ronald and Dennis; daughters, Elizabeth and Linda (Dave) Hohlen; extended family, Michael (Karmy) Thompson, David (Laurie) Thompson, Bruce (Sharon) Thompson and Kim (Steve) Borst. Warren was blessed with 18 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.  Warren was preceded in death by his 1st. wife, Shirley Ann (Kennedy) Scott; his son, Paul Edger Scott and Grandson, Kenneth Bouley Scott. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Warren’s Celebration of life, Saturday September 28th at 2 PM with a visitation starting at 1 PM all at Dare’s Funeral Home located at 805 Main St. N.W, Elk River, MN.
