Vance Treska

Vance Treska passed away on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 in Rogers, MN at the age of 66.

Vance was born on August 17th, 1957, to Victor and Allie (Treska) in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Onamia High School in Onamia, MN in 1975. Later attending Dakota County Technical Institute in Rosemount, MN, earning his Telecommunications Technician Certificate. He worked as a Sales Manager for Telesystems Inc in Plymouth, MN for 15 years followed by various jobs including warehouse operations and lawn care services.

Vance was passionate about music, fishing, and golf. He was a member of multiple bands, was an amazing singer, and could play many instruments including drums and guitar. He fished on Mille Lacs Lake for many years with friends and family. His sense of humor and friendly spirit will be deeply missed. 

He is survived by his son, Collin Treska; his daughter, Laura Treska; his ex-wife, Jill Treska; his sister, Melissa Anderson; half-brother, James Meyer; half-brother, Robert Frazier; step-sister, Michelle Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Vance was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Treska and Allie Meyer; and stepmother, Carol Treska. 

 A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
