Thomas (Tom) Orin Falls

Tom Falls, 57, passed away December 31st 2019 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  A Celebration of Tom’s life will be on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River.  Words of Remembrance will be shared at 5:00PM.  A Gathering of Family, Friends and Food will follow at Debbie and Dave’s, 16398 – 221st Avenue NW, Elk River.  Please wear flannels and blue jeans in honor of Tom.

Tom was born on February 27th, 1962 in Braham MN to Don and Joan Falls. Tom grew up in Stanchfield and attended school in Braham, where he met Cynthia (Carlson) Falls. They were married in 1980 and had four children together and later divorced. Tom later attended Pine Technical College for CNC programing. In 1994 Tom met the love of his life Barbara (Carlson) Falls, they were married in 1996.

Tom’s greatest passion in life was fishing. He could go on teaching you everything you would ever need to know about fishing and cleaning your catch with a twinkle in his eyes and a huge smile he couldn’t contain. He also had a love for his work as a CNC programmer and machinist. Over the last few years Tom has been working off and on for Sarelle Industries for his brother in-law Dave, where he was known as “The Wizard” for his ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Barb Falls; son, Cassidie Falls; daughters, Harmony Worrall (Mike), Alicia Falls (Curtis Marcott Jr.) and Victoria Falls; step-daughter, Tanya Sward; step-son, David Sward; grandchildren, John (Tymandra), Damian, Roger, Aaron, Malachi, Alex, Jamie, Caiden, Cylas, Dazie; great-grandson, Alikye; parents, Don and Joan Falls; brother, Mark Falls (Roxanne); sister, Debbie Cermak (Dave); sisters, Heidi Olerich (Randy) and Amy Herman (Rudie);  aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
