Thomas Richard Weinhold

Thomas Richard Weinhold (63) of Elk River passed away unexpectedly this past week in his home. A beloved father, brother, and friend, Tom will be missed dearly. Born and raised in Elk River, Tom graduated from Elk River High School in 1979 and remained in the area his whole life. Spending over 40 years in the construction industry, Tom’s craftsmanship is part of countless homes in the metro area and beyond. An avid gardener and sportsman, Tom could often be found in the garden or out on the lake fishing. Known for his selfless and caring nature, Tom’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who know and love him.

Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Marcella; son, Ryan; sister, Nancy; and brother, James.

Survived by daughters, Melissa, Summer (Joe), Sierra (Andy); son, Cory; sister, Kathy (Dave); brother, Robert (Virginia); grandsons, Damian, Jack III and Dominic; and granddaughters, Alyssa and Olivia.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3812 229th Ave NW, St. Francis, MN. Burial following at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Nowthen, MN.
