Theresa Marie Rogers

Age 87 of Elk River

Passed away peacefully with her loving family surrounding her on October 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; sons Timothy and Michael; and great-granddaughter Rachael.

Theresa treasured, spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Perhaps that was the source of her endless energy and spunkiness! She loved her family gatherings and taking in the sights and sounds of  being around her family.  She was known to joke around and be a prankster. You better have had a lot of time on your hands when going to the store with her, because she was going to strike up a conversation with just about anyone she saw, whether she knew them or not.  She and Robert enjoyed camping and traveling. She also loved her trips with the girls to Mexico!

Something always precious to Theresa was her affection for German Shepherds and dachshunds. She owned many beloved pets throughout her lifetime.

Theresa is survived by her daughters Tammara (Ron) Baron, and Jacolyn (Brian) Stellmach; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, with visitation 1 hour prior to service at the Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River. Interment to follow at Orono Cemetery, Elk River. Lunch will be served at Elk River Lutheran Church after the burial.
