Shirley Peterson Obituary

Age 94, of Mahtomedi, previously of Elk River and Rogers, passed away December 24, 2021. She was born in Minneapolis on April 12, 1927, to parents Harold W. Hanson and Freda Proehl Hanson.

Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Peterson, and son-in-law, Timothy Higgins.

Survived by children Lee Peterson (Joan), James Peterson (Diane), Mary Bolton (Steven), Jane Carlson, Joy Higgins, Lynn Peterson, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora. Memorials are requested to Elk River Lutheran Church and Guardian Angels of Elk River.
