Cotter Sr., Shane Jary age 77 of Big Lake, left this earth on September 16, 2020. He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by son Timothy, parents Clarence and Lucille Cotter, and niece Jenni. He is survived by sister Kathleen of Big Lake, brother Tim (Victoria) of Clearwater, his sons Shane Jr. of Dayton, Shawn (Nichole) of Becker, Patrick (Joleen) of St. Louis Park, Michael (Samantha) of Becker; grandchildren Joshua, Samantha, Benen, Charlie, Evelyn, Emerson, and Madelyn.

Shane was a US Army Korean War Veteran, and 55-year member of Local 548 Millwrights Union. He worked across the US employing thousands of people as the owner of Lovegreen Turbine Services, Inc. for 20 years. “Papa” Shane enjoyed custom cars, fishing, snowmobiling, weekends at the cabin, and family gatherings.

His family loves him very much and he will be deeply missed by many.

Services are private. Interment at Epiphany Cemetery in Coon Rapids.
