Sandra L. Marr, 77, of Nowthen, Minnesota, passed away on March 19, 2026. She was born on October 14, 1948, in Granite Falls, Minnesota.

Sandra was a lifelong devoted mother and, alongside her husband David, built and operated Marr Machines for many years. In retirement, the two enjoyed an adventurous chapter together, living in Arizona, Florida, and Minnesota. Those who knew her best knew her as a woman of warmth, humor, and an enormous heart — always ready with a bad joke and never quite mastering the art of cards.

She had a deep love for animals, rescuing countless cats and dogs throughout her life, with a particular soft spot for West Highland White Terriers. In quieter moments, Sandra could be found tending to her garden, settling in to watch her beloved British television shows, or baking the Christmas cookies she was famous for among family and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, David J. Marr (2014), and her parents, Stanley and Marion Kollen.

She is survived by her three sons, Gerad and his wife Jennifer, Thomas and his wife Tanya, and Ryan and his wife Jordan; seven grandchildren, Tiah, David, Britney, Tyler, Katie, Turner, and Nolan; one great-grandchild, Maisie; and her brother, Richard, and his wife Mary Kollen; sisters-in-law, Geri Marr Burdman and Nancy Marr along with several nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life will be held later this spring.
