Ross Jerome Haggen, age 61, passed away on October 8, 2025. Ross was funny, sweet, tender, creative, and kind. He always had a funny t-shirt slogan, loved music, and enjoyed collecting fun-shaped ice cube trays. On Sunday afternoons, Ross could be found with his family making chocolate chip cookies and tearing up over a Disney movie. Safety yellow was his favorite color. He always had plans to buy land for the family and build yurts for all his children because he was - as he always said - “mechanically inclined”. One of the joys of his life was playing bluegrass music with his family, especially at the Forest City Stockade, where the Haggen Family Singers performed for nearly twenty years. Ross's noodling on his guitar will be forever missed at family gatherings.
He is preceded in death by his father, Grant, brothers, Chris and Ted, and his dog, Lucy.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, children, Kayla (Kerry), Emma (Evan), Mandy (Dave), Amelia (Alex), and Samuel (Kayla). Also, grandchildren, Gabriel, Henry, Oliver, Calvin, and Charles Wirig, and Teddy, Penelope, Walter, and Juniper Gruber, mother, Arlene, and sisters, Ann (Joe), Janelle (Darren), and Patty (Jon).
He was greatly loved and will be missed.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (3933 Highway 25 N, Buffalo, MN 55313) on November 8th, 2025, at 11:00 am.
