Roger Scott Wilde

Roger Scott Wilde, born October 29th, 1946 in Rochester, MN passed away very unexpectedly August 16th, 2025 in Wisconsin. Graduating in 1964 from Robbinsdale High School, Robbinsdale, MN. He then attended the Dunwoody Institute and was a member of the Navy Reserves.  

He enjoyed golfing, boating, and fishing at Potato Lake in Spooner WI. His heart and soul were there – where he and his wife Jan turned a cabin shell into their beautiful lake home. Together they enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Alaska, Mexico, and went on several cruises. He spent his working career as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Jan Wilde; son, Christopher (Anne) Wilde; stepchildren, Lisa (Lane) Schoening and David (Lisa) Pixley; grandchildren, Melina, Sophia, and Jonah; siblings, Bill Wilde, Melissa Christensen, Mark (Patti) Wilde, and Ginny (Troy) Veldhouse; and dear lifetime friend Warren Copp.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Janet Sue Wilde, parents Willaim Wilde and Marjorie Wilde (Lawler); stepfather Charles Lawler; and his very favorite cat Bruiser

A funeral service is scheduled at Christ Church in Otsego MN on August 29th at 10am, visitation will be an hour prior.
