Roger Alan Page, beloved husband, father, uncle and friend died peacefully at home and into His heavenly Fathers arms, January 12, 2025, at the age of 77, in Elk River, Minnesota.
Roger was born, in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 30, 1947. He grew up in Anoka and graduated from Anoka High School in 1966. He attended Bemidji State College for a time, returned home and worked in the plastics industry, at Precision Engineering Co. as a foreman in the Twin Cities.
On December 18, 1971 he married the love of his life, Virginia “Ginny“ Crandall, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in Brainerd, Mn.
He went to Votec school in Osseo, Mn to become a Dental Lab Technician. Shortly after that, he created his own business, Page Dental Lab that he ran out of his home, for 34 years.
They built a beautiful life together, had two children, and were married for 53 blessed years. During these years, he spent much time building their home in Elk River on the Mississippi River and raised their family there. Later, he also built a lake home on the Cass Lake chain of lakes where his family enjoy summers together.
He enjoyed many things throughout his life. In his early years, he spent time doing hockey, fishing, swimming, watering skiing, boating and oil painting. Before he retired he enjoyed model railroading. He was a well read man, kept fun fish tanks for the kids to see and loved watching the news.
He loved the outdoors and spent much of his retirement time with his wife, kids and grandkids. In the winter, he enjoyed all things Christmas, especially putting up Christmas lights and decorations. In the spring and summer he spent much time gardening both at home, but mostly at the cabin. He also became a hosta enthusiast and had an extensive collection planted at the lake that he was quite proud of. Summers at the lake were spent with family doing projects, boating, fishing, watching the kids swim at the beach and sitting around the campfire. He enjoyed the lake place tremendously and many fond memories were made there. He spent most autumns on his hunting land, showing the kids and grandkids how to hunt. He loved to talk, so most of all, he always enjoyed a good conversation.
