Robert Erwan Bryant

Robert Erwan Bryant, age 84 of Rogers, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was born September 19, 1938 in Jenkins, MN, to Roy Erwan and Marian Louise (Bliss) Bryant.

Bob grew up in Jenkins and in his mid-teens moved to California, later returning back to Minnesota.

Bob proudly served in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany, working border patrol during the assassination of JFK. He was a sought after residential painter, working with Erling Decorating.

On January 5, 1965, Robert Bryant and Virginia Workman were united in marriage in St. Paul.

He was a member of the Painter’s Union and enjoyed bird hunting with Dan and his brothers, road trips, yearly trips to Grand Marais, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Marian Bryant; and brothers, Boyd, Richard and Randall.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Bryant of Rogers; children, Daniel of Rogers, Lisa (Mike) Collen of Ten Sleep, WY; granddaughter, Jessica (Tyrell) Zierlein of Ten Sleep, WY; great-grandchildren, Tristin and Tenley; siblings, Barb French of California, Beverly Meehan of California, Mary Albert of Oregon, Jerry Bryant of Minnesota, Bruce Bryant of Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
