Raymond Joseph Bauer

Age 84, of Port Charlotte, FL (formerly of Zimmerman, MN). Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

He was born on March 26, 1941, to John Henry and Barbara (Vogler) Bauer in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Bloomington Lincoln High School in 1959. On October 20, 1962, he married his loving wife, Laura Priebe.

Ray enjoyed playing cards and travelling, but most of all, he enjoyed embarrassing his daughters at every opportunity. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laura; brothers, John “Jack”, LeRoy, Clem, and Rick; sister, Eunice.

Ray is survived by his beloved daughters, Denise (Dan) LaFave, Renee (Todd) Hareid, Lynette (Rob) Stockwell, and Ericka Larson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Ray’s life will be from 10:00 AM – Noon on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River with Remembrances shared at 11:30 AM.
