Preston G. Dodds

Age 60, of Big Lake, Minnesota.  Passed away on October 21, 2024 in Nowthen, Minnesota.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Jean Dodds; brothers, Winston and Edmund Hunt; sisters, Angela and Lydia Hunt; aunt, Gemma Dodds.

Preston is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia; son, Bryton Dodds; daughter, Lavender Dodds; birth mother, Norma Fredrick; siblings, Aldrick (Mavis) Dodds, twin sisters, Jenny Bailey and Jennifer (Barrington) Wright, Clint Dodds, Sherene Fredrick, and Brandon Fredrick; faithful pooches, Diego, Jack-Jack, and Tucker; other family and friends.

" And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."  (Romans 8:28 NIV). And, as their pastor has taught them, "all means ALL." This has been the family's theme since Preston's cancer diagnosis on Christmas Eve,2022. Please join the family as we celebrate together the life and home going of their beloved Preston.

A Celebration of Life for Preston will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Free Grace United Church, 829 School Street NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 1:00 PM.
