Age 86, formerly of Coon Rapids, MN. Passed away July 19, 2024 in Anoka, MN.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonita; infant son, John; parents, Philip and Mary (Kubinski) Novack Sr.; brother, Jim Novack.
Phil worked 30 + years in the warehouse for Target loading trucks and never missed a day of work. He proudly served 20+ years as a volunteer Reserve Officer for the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, earning “Volunteer of the Year” in 2012. He was active in the Knights of Columbus for many years. He loved to help out at Camp Courage, even building wagons they subsequently used for fundraising. He was a member of the Voyager’s Club. Together with Bonnie, Phil was a member of the Hot Foot Square Dance Club.
He is survived by his sons, Philip and Michael (Ruth) Novack; grandchildren, Jessica Novack, Candice (Aaron) Jessop, Katie (Robert) Medina, Ryan (Molly) McDonald, Patrick (Alyssa) McDonald; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Chouinard; brother, John Novack; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 18380 Columbus St, Dayton, with visitation starting at 10:00AM.
