Thedens, Paul Jon 

Age 54, of Orono, Minnesota. Born in Mankato, Minnesota. Graduate of Cambridge High School in 1985.

Attended Anoka Ramsey Community College as a member of the wrestling team.

Paul grew up on Mille Lacs Lake, Spectacle Lake, and spent his adult life living near Lake Minnetonka. Paul loved being on the water; his happy place being on a boat with his family and friends. He was an avid water skier and for many years would be the first one on the water after ice out. One of Paul’s favorite places was Big Island on Lake Minnetonka.

Paul was married for 17 years and has three children that he loved with the entirety of his heart. With his family, Paul would frequently travel to Naples, Florida where he enjoyed boating on the ocean and laying by the beach. Paul will be remembered for his friendly personality, contagious sense of humor, and passion for sports, such as snowmobiling, attending hockey games and golfing.

Paul was a very hard worker and owner of his successful business, PT Drywall and Painting. His strong work ethic was present in everything he did and will be carried on through his children. Paul truly lived his life to the fullest and was constantly surrounded by loved ones.

Survived by his two sons, Taylor and Mason; daughter, Kylie; mother of his children, Jane Thedens; parents, Dick and Helen Thedens; two brothers, Tom (Kathy), Richard (Joy) Thedens; 3 nieces,  Amanda, Sarah and Emily; 2 brothers-in-law, Paul and Roger  and extended family and friends. Paul will be deeply missed by his family, whom he would do anything for.

Paul’s Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 at 2 PM at Birch’s on the lake, Brewhouse and Supperclub 1310 Wayzata Blvd. Long Lake MN.  Private interment. Arr. Dare’s Funeral Home 763-441-1212 www.daresfuneralservice.com
