Patricia Kay Wirz

Patricia Kay Wirz, age 63 of Nowthen, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1962, to Marvin and Suzanne (Thomas) Wirz.

You would often find Patty volunteering her time with the Lions. She enjoyed spending time at the family cabin and time spent with her family and friends. She was one of the largest animal lovers one would meet, especially loving her cats. She loved purses and had wide collection of pens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Suzanne Wirz; and sister, Pamela Beckman.

Patty is survived by her siblings, Peggy (Jerry) Armstrong, Steven (Renee) Wirz, Randy (Nikki) Wirz; brother-in-law, David Beckman; nieces and nephews, Ben Armstrong, Ross (Janna) Armstrong, Rachel (Charlie) Armstrong, Amanda (Cory) Thomsen, Andrew (Sami) Wirz, Nicholas Wirz, Zoey Wirz; great-nieces, Maci, Brooke, Maddie; beloved cat, Bea; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at St. John Lutheran Church, 9231 Viking Blvd NW, Nowthen, MN.
