Norma Jean (Clark) Golden

Norma Jean Golden, age 79 of Clear Lake, MN, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. She was born on April 3, 1945 in Las Vegas, NV.

Norma was a hard worker and dedicated in her career as an optical manager. She played a pivotal role in guiding her children through their own optical careers.

A devoted mother who always put her children first, Norma’s life was centered around her family. She has a passion for line dancing, planting flowers, watching the wildlife, and loving her yorkies.

Norma will be remembered for her unwavering determination, independence, and courage. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruby Jean (Tidwell) Clark; brother, Robby Clark; sister, Sandy Clark; brother-in-law, Denny Dronen; niece and nephew, Kim Murphy and Shawn Murphy; and beloved dogs, Spike, Reggie, Louie, Sophie, Molly, Princess, Baby, Abby, Max and Buck.

Norma is survived by her loving children, Todd (Diane) Campbell, Laura (Todd) Daniel, Katie Abousaada , Mandy (Jerett) Spiess, Jacob (Sarah) Golden; Chad Lee; grandchildren, Dan (Heather), Tia, Ashley (Joshua), Amber (Jay), Zachary (Jessica), Joshua (Emily), Jack (Rachel), Andrew, Alex, Hayden (Taylor), Solae (Preston), Makenzie, Grace, Carly; great-grandchildren, Seth, Poppy, Rose, Mason, Ayden, Liam; siblings, Linda Dronen, Tommy Clark, Pat (Debbie) Clark, Becky Malave, Ralph (Shelley) Clark; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 12:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior, at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN. A family burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster, WI at a later date. A luncheon and more time of fellowship will follow Norma's service and will be held at the Elk River American Legion Post 112, 525 Railroad Dr, Elk River, MN.
