Nancy Ann (Nettleton) Boeckers

Nancy Boeckers, age 71, of Otsego passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Nancy was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who lived a positive life of service and hospitality. Born in Proctor, MN, Nancy was one of six siblings (Annette, Steven Paul, Sandra, Cheryl, Jeff) of Wallace and Mary Nettleton. Later, the family moved to Anoka, MN where Nancy graduated from Anoka High School. Nancy moved to the Twin Cities to begin work as a library clerk, in data entry, and bookkeeping.

She met the love of her life, Roger, through her roommate Diane (Roger’s sister). Roger and Nancy recently celebrated 50 years of marriage in December of 2024.

Nancy set her career aside to raise two sons, Daryl (Christina) and Jason (Tamara). She was quick to accept the invitation to care for grandchildren (Ethan, Marcus, Wyatt, Zachary, Madelynne, and Mollie) on sick days or when care was needed.

Nancy enjoyed travel, shopping, craft shows, and a great deal from a garage sale. She will be remembered for her invitations into the kitchen to learn cooking, warm quilts that she made, and infectious laugh.

Services for Nancy Boeckers will be held at Dare’s Funeral Home located at 805 Main Street NW in Elk River on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Visitation will be held from 9:30am-11am and a service will be held from 11:00am to 12 noon with a luncheon following.
