Maureen (Egan) Lundquist-Ladwig, age 77 of Aitkin, MN passed away peacefully with family at her side Wednesday, January 10, 2024, while in hospice care at her home.
Maureen was born in Minneapolis, MN to Costney and Loretta (Sullivan) Egan.
Maureen lived a full life. She was the president of VFW Auxiliary in Aitkin and belonged to the American Legion in Aitkin. She loved all her cats, which were many over the years. Maureen also loved fishing and enjoyed doing so with her husband on the lakes around Aitkin.
Survived by her husband of 37 years, Ron; daughter, Shelley Zimmerman; grandchildren, DJ Perez and Rylie Zimmerman; brothers, Costney (Ann) Egan, Billy (Gail) Egan, Mike Egan, John (Paula) Egan; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom; grandson, Drew Perez; parents, Costney and Loretta Egan; siblings, Patrick, Peter, Kathleen, Colleen, Susan, Patty, and Michelle; sister-in-law, Kim; brother-in-law, Joe; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Ashley, and Chip.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff at St. Croix Hospice who provided “Moe” with such great comfort and loving care.
Help us celebrate the life of Maureen at Saint John-Baptist Catholic Church, 18380 Columbus Street, Dayton, MN. Services will be Jan 26 at 1:00pm (visitation at noon).
