Matthew T. Ledin

Age 30, of Ely, MN. Passed away on November 27, 2023.

Matt was born on March 10, 1993 to Gregg and Melonie Ledin. He grew up in Rogers, MN playing hockey and baseball with friends; fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling with his father; and swimming with his mom and sisters until his hair turned green.

Matt was a caring son and brother, a steadfast friend, and a dedicated, hardworking employee. His daughter Addison was the center of his world.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gregg Ledin, and uncle, Todd Ledin.

Matt is survived by his daughter, Addison Ledin, her mother, Kylee Hanninen; his mother, Melonie Ledin; sisters, Stacey (Jeff) Magnuson and Rachel (Martin) Edgett; nieces and nephews, Philip and Eve Magnuson, and Holden Edgett; grandparents, Marie Butterfield and Nancy and Joe Griesgraber; uncles, Harold Stitt and Jeff Ledin; beloved dog, Kevin, and other family and friends.

Matt’s life will be celebrated from Noon – 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN 55330.
