Mary Carol (Orth) Schmaus

Age 67, was called home to God on 7/13/22 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by parents Crescent and Kerry Orth, sister Diane Kardash, and sister Susan Orth.

Survived by loving husband Donald, and children Emily (Phil) Scharber, and Anthony (Kalah) Schmaus; and grandchildren AJ, Emalia, Ada and Jackson. Also survived by brothers Reg and Mark, brother-in-law Bill Kardash, and too many additional aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends to name.

Mary loved being a grandmother, camping, tubing rivers, and partying with friends and family. She also loved a good argument, which somehow she always won!

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 4:30-7:30pm at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St, Elk River, MN.

Mass of Christian burial  will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Rogers, MN with visitation one hour prior. A luncheon will be held immediately after mass.
