Marvel Ann (Olson) Flodquist

Age 89, of Elk River, passed away peacefully 2/26/26. Preceded in death by her husband Curtis Flodquist.

Marvel was Born March 6, 1936 in Rice Lake, WI to Nora (Hovind) and Oscar Olson and married Curtis Flodquist on 6/28/1958.

Marvel worked for Sherburne County Abstract in Elk River for many years. Marvel and Curt enjoyed traveling and visited many beautiful places. Marvel was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed her grandchildren immensely. They were her pride and joy!

Survived by her children, Peter (Deanna), Tom, Trish (Randy) Watzke, and Emily (Terry) Berg; grandchildren, Jamus, Nick, Mallory (Jeremy) Houle, Alyssa, David, Adam (Lindsay), Kyle and Abby; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kenlee and Colton; devoted niece, Bonnie Solie.

A Celebration of Marvel’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 1:00 PM.
