Marv Dawson

Marv Dawson went home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, two days after his 81st birthday.

A faithful husband to Diane; proud father to John (Angie), Missy (Don) Brown, Rachel (Steve) Rueckert, Annie (Scott) Flynn; wonderful grandpa to 23 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way.

Marv was an electrician by trade and a jack-of-all trade by choice. He loved helping people, camping, traveling, being with family and friends, and tea.

Marv is now rejoicing with those who have gone before him, his parents, Stanley and Myrtle Dawson; sisters, Joanne and Grace; and many loved ones and friend, Darrel.

Faith, Family and Friends were the hallmarks of his life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

A funeral service for Marv will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at Elk River Baptist Church, 1800 8th St NW, Elk River, MN. Interment to follow at Meadowvale Cemetery, Elk River, MN.
