Age 90, of Elk River, passed away on December 1, 2025, at The Legacy of St. Michael.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Schneider; husband, Walter; sister, Jeanette Millman; son-in-law, Brian Dupay.
Survived by her children, Tom (Jean), Sue Dupay, Therese (David) Anderson, Pat (Deb), and Tim (Terri); 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Jack Schneider.
Marlene was a loving mother and grandmother, being a caregiver to her whole family. She grew up in North Minneapolis, attending North High. After she married Walter in 1955, they welcomed 5 children. While raising her children she was involved with leading Cub Scouts and Girls Scouts, helping with many Knights of Columbus activities and CCW. Later she worked as secretary at Our Lady of Victory. Marlene and Walt enjoyed travelling and spending time with friends. Marlene loved gardening, playing cards and bingo, building puzzles, and her cat, Charlie.

Mass of Christian burial at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Church of St. Andrew, 566 – 4th St NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 11:30 AM.
