Lynne (Hansen) Sampson

Loving Mother, Wife, Daughter, and Friend, Lynne Sampson passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 48; surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy of selflessness and unconditional love.

Lynne married the love of her life, Michael Sampson, on June 10, 2000 and continued to build their family and have three children: Jordan, Katelyn and Riley. She started off working in the Mortgage Industry with her mother and then over time became the best stay at home mom anybody could ask for. She enjoyed reading, traveling, calligraphy, a nice glass of red wine, and most of all being with her family.  She contributed to her community by volunteering at Thumbs Up 5k and 10k, CAER, Parker Elementary School, American Legion and many more. She devoted her time to helping others and putting others before herself. She was the true definition of selfless.

Lynne is preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Hansen.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Sampson; her three children, Jordan Asmus, Katelyn Sampson, and Riley Sampson; her parents, David and Kay Hansen; three siblings, Jared Hansen, Bryon Hansen and Jamie Rothe and several nieces and nephews; her furbaby Dakotah.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30AM on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Church of St Andrew, 566 – 4th Street NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 9:30AM.
