Age 71, of Naples, FL, formerly of St. Louis Park and Elk River, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep with her devoted husband by her side. Lynn was born to Frances and William Gahagan in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on August 12, 1949. She later moved to Minnesota to raise her family with her former husband, James Weller. Later in life, Lynn pursued her dream of becoming a nurse and earned her nursing degree from Hennepin Technical College. She worked as a nurse for many years at the Elk River Clinic and later retired from the Park Nicollet Clinic in St. Louis Park. Upon retirement, Lynn continued to pursue her dreams by traveling with Mark and later settling in Naples, FL. Throughout her life, Lynn maintained life-long friendships with many including her high school friends, sisters-in-law, co-workers, neighbors, and people she met while traveling. Lynn was a survivor of two different cancers that resulted in continued health difficulties in her life. She continued to remain strong and fought a courageous battle. The loss of her teenage son "Willie" left Lynn with a great sorrow that was relieved with the arrival of her grandchildren. Lynn contributed her whole life to her family but took special pride in being a wonderful grandma. Survived by husband, Mark; daughters Francie (Ed) and Jessica (Roman); grandchildren McKenzie (Dan), Kali, Macy, Hannah, Erin, Roman, Alyson and Madyson; sister Jacquie (Steve); several godchildren; nieces & nephews; and many other family members & friends. Lynn will be deeply missed and never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be private.
