Lorraine E. (Savage) Hearshman

Age 91, of Ramsey.  Passed away on June 30, 2022.

Lorraine "Rainey" of "Rainey's Rag Rugs" was a weaver.  She wove rag rugs for over 40 years.  She sold them at craft shows all over the state.  She has rugs in many parts of the world, including some in a church in Japan.  Her work won Blue Ribbons at the MN State Fair.  Her work will be very missed. 

She also loved to sew.  Quilts especially.  Lorraine loved her dogs and always had one by her side.  She loved going to the lake as well.  She would always sit on the dock and kick her feet in the water.  She loved sitting by the camp fire and watching the stars, and feeding the birds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Garrett and Erva Savage; sister, Jeanne Overby Mathies; brother, Jimmy Savage.

Lorraine is survived by her children, David Hearshman, Susan Spitzenberger, Daniel Hearshman and Julie Wellcome; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Marie, Sharon, Christie, Amanda and Dustin; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Woolard and Sharon Costello; other family and friends.

 A Celebration of Lorraine’s life will be at 11AM on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St, Elk River, with visitation starting at 10AM.
