Loren P. Simpson

Passed away due to Covid on 5/8/21. Survived by wife Jette; children Dawn (Brian), Wade, Jake (Taylor) and Adam (Patty); 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on the way; and sisters Sil and Janet (Bob). Loren was an avid small woodworker having gifted many of his creations to family & friends. He had many admirable qualities and was a real “people person”. Loren volunteered several times a week at the CAER Food Shelf in Elk River. He had a strong faith in Christ, enjoying the fellowship of attending bible study groups.  He was a longtime Minnesota Twins fan and among his other passions was attending “Back to the Fifties” each June with his blue ’51 Chevy with the flames on the side.  Memorial service 11AM, Fri 5/14 with visitation at 10AM at GATEWAY CHURCH, 13913 185TH Ave NW, Elk River.
