Linda Feltz Obituary

Linda Louise Feltz (Goehringer) was born September 19th, 1956 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Daniel and Louise Goehringer (Stebnoski). She lived in New Hope as a child and moved to Otsego in 1970 where she lived with her parents and 3 siblings on the family farm.

Linda graduated from Elk River High School in 1974. Shortly after she met her future husband at Deano’s Diner when a friend decided to introduce her to Jeff Feltz, who just happened to be there that same night. They built a house, a family and a business together. Linda loved her extended family; the individuals and staff at Community Living Options.

Linda took the time to be an active part of her children's activities such as being a Den Mother and Troop Leader for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, as well as driving them to all of their various sporting events. She enjoyed traveling around the country with Jeff and their kids and hosting holiday gatherings at home. You never left Linda's house hungry and you always had leftovers in hand.

Linda loved traveling to California to watch the sunset over the ocean and being at the cabin with the wildlife, the lake and her family all nearby. Her love was immense. She cherished family and her love for them, especially her grandchildren, was immeasurable.

Linda died peacefully at home on March 24, 2024 and was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by family that love and miss their wife, mother, sister, aunt and Nana.

Linda is survived by her husband Jeff Feltz; children, Shaun Feltz, Casey (Matt) Steele, Jesse (Katie Bugella) Feltz, Daniel Dylan Feltz; brothers, Jim (Jody) Goehringer, Stan (Mary) Goehringer, sister Sue (Larry) Longmore; grandchildren, Lina, Henry and Shelby; nephews, Josh, Jared, Barry, Matt, Stan Jr., Tucker, Jason, Jake and Joey.

A celebration of life will be held on April 2nd from 1-4pm at Rockwoods in Otsego with a prayer service at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead that donations be made to Special Olympics Minnesota to honor the years Linda spent providing safe, loving homes and experiences through her work at Community Living Options.
