Leila Ann Schreder

Leila Ann Schreder, age 85 of Anoka, and formerly of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was born in Minneapolis on August 23, 1939 to Joseph and Laverne (Henz) Schreder.

Leila enjoyed dining out at her favorite restaurants, spending time at the casino, and the challenge of crossword puzzles. Above all, Leila cherished her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Laverne Schreder; and brothers, Robert and Richard.

Leila is survived by her children, Robert (Wanda) Schreder, Wendy (Pat) Schreder; sister, Cheri (Dave) Schmeichel; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Amanda, Mary, Sarah, Stephen, Parker, Kamryn; 5 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN. Burial following at Orono Cemetery in Elk River, MN.
