Karen Louise Knauf

Age 67, of Zimmerman, MN, formerly from Coon Rapids.

Passed away on April 25, 2026. Birthdate April 23, 1959.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. Knowlton & Eileen M. Knowlton and sister-in-law, Dee Knauf.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; children, Bradley (Mikandra) Patchen and Molly (Jeremy) Mudick; sisters, Cindy Ostby Jacobson and Renee Knowlton, brother-in-law, Mitchell Knauf; grandchildren, Maya, Alyssa, Kale, Mason, Andrew, Hannah and Lily, great-grandchildren, Oakley, Hudson, Rudy and Jesse.

Karen was loved by Mark’s family, her cousins, Karen & Mark’s friends at the club, their riding buddies, her “lunch ladies” coworkers & the kiddos she served meals to @ Zimmerman Elementary and many other friends and family.

A Celebration of Karen’s life will be at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 3:00 PM.

Memorials in Karen’s name may be directed to the family or to Mission 22 @ Mission coalition - Mission 22.

Following the gathering at Dare’s Funeral Home, all are invited to continue the fellowship at ZBG – Zimmerman Bar & Grill, 13100 Fremont Avenue, Zimmerman, MN 55398.
