Age 43, of Otsego, MN, died May 30, 2026, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina after a valiant five-month battle with neuro-endocrine cancer. He was born August 30, 1982, in St. Louis Park to Kenneth and Margaret (Rippberger) Justen.
Joe was a huge football fan, especially of the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed fishing with family and friends whenever he had a chance. Smoking meat, grilling, and cooking were also hobbies, and he may be best remembered for his chicken wings. Preceded in death by mother, Margaret; sister, Nicole; grandparents, Frank and Betty Justen, and Herman and Elizabeth Rippberger.
Survived by father, Kenneth; sister, April (Zach); nephews, Hendrick, Andreas, and Johann; many other relatives and friends.
