Jon Thomas Tillmann

Jon Tillman, 84 of Elk River, Minnesota, passed away on August 30, 2025. He was born to Charles and Volly Tillmann on August 6, 1941.

He graduated from Montevideo High School. He then went on to serve in the United States Army.

He married Rachel Jerve from Big Bend, Minnesota on December 14, 1963. They had two sons, Steve Tillmann and Ben Tillmann.

In 1978, they bought land and built a home and moved to Elk River and lived out their lives.

Jon is survived by son, Ben (Brenda) Tillmann: grandson, Daniel (Cassie) Tillmann and great-grandson, Myles Tillmann, granddaughter, Sarah (Michael) Ganger; son, Steve (Alice) Tillmann: grandson, Nick, granddaughter, Casey; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jon was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel; parents, Charlie and Volly Tillmann; brothers, Chuck, Joe and Jim Tillmann; and sister-in-law, Sharon Tillmann.

Private family burial.
