JoAnne C. (Burgoyne) Burley

JoAnne Burley (Burgoyne) 86, passed away November 24, 2025. She died from natural causes.

Survived by Husband Bob, married 66 years, sons Brian (Kelly) of Elk River, Bruce (Becky) of Isle Mn and daughter Barb of Elk River. Also, four grandchildren, BreAnna, Matt, Andrew and Katelyn and five Great grandchildren, Brynn, Sayer, Campell, Hallee and Victor. Surviving Sisters Mary Jane and Elaine.

She received an Associate of Nursing Degree at Anoka Ramsey Community College followed by her BSN Degree and Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership at Bethel University.

She worked as a Registered Nurse at Monticello Hospital and Unity Hospital in Fridley MN. Taught a Nurse Refresher Course at Hennepin Tech College and worked in the Unity Hospital Education Department.

JoAnne’s likes included antiques, quilting, scrapbooking, reading and endless hours at the Lakehouse in Brainerd MN.

She will be dearly missed by all.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Dare's Funeral Home 805 Main St. NW, MN 55330. Visitation will be one hour prior. There will be a light luncheon to follow.

JoAnne ashes will be placed in her Niche at St. Andrews Parish Cemetery.
