Jamie D. Miels

Jamie Donald Miels passed away on December 6th, 2024, at the age of 53. Jamie was born on January 24th, 1971 to Donald and Diana Miels, he was the oldest of three children.

Jamie enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family and friends. Jamie was a big kid at heart which especially came out when he spent time with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He graduated in 1989 from Blaine High School, then went on to get a welding degree at Alexandria Technical College. Jamie worked as a lead welder at Caterpillar Paving Products, he was dedicated to CAT for 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald E. Miels.

Jamie is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Miels, Chelsey Krafty (Kyle); mother of his children Tamara Miels; grandchildren Nylah, Josh, and Lucas. Mother Diana Miels; sister Melanie (Jeremy) Nelson, brother Bradley Miels, nieces and nephews: Colton (Alyssa) Wickstrom, Caitlyn (Monico) Svacina and their children Ellianna and Harper. Joseph Rubesh, Laura Rubesh, Brooke Nelson, Brittney (Gideon) Belden, and Emalee Nelson, along with many loved family members and lifelong friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 26th 2025, 2-6 pm at The Getaway Bar and Grill in Orrock, MN
