James Daniel Potvin
Age 37 of Cedar, MN
Unexpectedly passed away in Burnsville, MN on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by grandparents Thomas Pluth, Ardith and Calvin Glockzin, and Vernon Potvin.
James is survived by his grandmother Mary Potvin; parents Michael and Cynthia Potvin; children Reese, and Cynthia Potvin; Brandy, the mother of his children; siblings Jason (Melissa), Chad (Megan), Christopher (Nicole), and Bradley; girlfriend Shannell, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. James was a loving father, brother and friend. He really enjoyed football, fishing and spending time with his children and family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. A Celebration of life will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 20, 2023, with visitation at 10AM at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River. Luncheon to follow at Elk River Lutheran Church next door. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family for a fund to benefit James’s children.
