James M. Carrier

James M. Carrier, age 56 of Elk River, MN, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, after a 5-year battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by grandparents, and father, Richard Carrier.

Jim was in the printing business for over 35 years, last employed with John Roberts Company until January of 2020. He loved his job, printing and his co-workers. Jim was also proud of his service with the National Guard.

Survived by wife, Kathy; his stepchildren, Zachary (Melissa) Fossum of Oceanside, CA, Mallory Carey of Elk River; grandchildren, Caiden and Colten Carey, Hunter and Hannah Fossum; mother, Judy Carrier; sister, Deb (Mark) Carrier-Parkos; brothers, Tim (Angie) Carrier; Brian (Yvette) Carrier; nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be Sunday July 30, 2023 held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Elk River American Legion, 525 Railroad Drive, Elk River.
