Irma Marie Beck

Irma Marie Beck was born on June 30, 1944 at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and died on July 29, 2019 at Banner Del Webb Hospital in Sun City West, AZ at 75 years old. 

Irma was preceded in death by her father John Beck, her step-father Edward Nagle, her mother Grace (Hallbeck) Nagle, her son Todd Toughill, her sister Sonya Flor and her brother John (Jack) Beck. 

Irma graduated from Minneapolis North High School in 1962. She was a realtor for over 45 years selling homes in Minnesota and Arizona. She was a top-selling agent in Minnesota for several years while working for David C. Bell Realty. She also served as a proud member of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) while working as an Executive Admin for the President of the Southern California Sheet Metal Workers (SMWIA) Local 105 in Los Angeles, CA. Along with her sister, Val, she operated an assisted living home in Elk River, MN called Ivy’s Place. She retired from Local 105 in 2008 and relocated to Surprise, AZ to be near her granddaughter and continued to sell real estate until she passed. 

Irma is survived by her son, Scott (Amanda) Toughill; her grandchildren, Tahitu Toughill, Grace Toughill; her sisters, Clara Collier, Val Greely; her brothers Dennis (Heather) Beck, Ed (Laurie) Nagle, Frank (Cindy) Nagle; many other family and friends. 

Services will be held at Dare's Funeral and Cremation Services, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Noon. Visitation is one hour prior to service at 11:00 AM. 

A Celebration of Life with a gathering of family and friends will follow at Frank and Cindy Nagle's, 9481 Nelmark Ave NE, Otsego, MN.
