Holly Jo Schinkowsky

Holly Jo Schinkowsky, age 59 of Maple Grove, passed away on April 14, 2022. Holly, or “Kiki” as her family called her, excelled in school and sports growing up. She had a passion for baking, particularly cookies and cakes, and was an expert at sewing. Holly made many outfits for herself and Allie as well as winter jester hats for the extended family. She loved hosting large family gatherings and making homemade meals. She will always be remembered for her kindness and how much she loved family and friends. Survived by parents Mary Magnuson and William Koplin; daughter Aleksandra (Blaec) Nelson; siblings Corine (Bruce) Johnson, Lori (Michael) Hamerly, Julie (Robert) Brown, and Jessica Magnuson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 3PM, with visitation from 12PM-3PM at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St. NW, Elk River. 763-441-1212.
