Harold (Harry) Sunderman

Age 90, of Elk River, passed away on December 13, 2021 with his children by his side.

Harry was born on December 17, 1930 in Melrose, MN.  He married Mary Moening on October 5, 1957.  He owned Sunderman Paints in Elk River for many years.  He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family.  Harry’s family and friends enjoyed his wit and generous heart.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his infant child; great-grandson, Everett; brother, Hubert Sunderman; sister, Delores Bromen.

Harold is survived by his children, Karla (John) McCarey, Allen (Cathy), Amy (Ed) Gadach, Jill (Dan) Kolles, Missy Sunderman (Troy Grossinger) and Heidi (Brent) Schloe; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Romie, Bernie and Vic (Dorene); many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM with visitation starting at 9:00AM on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at The Church of St. Andrew, 566-4th Street NW, Elk River.
