Gordon Dale Balfanz

Gordon Dale Balfanz, age 74 of Elk River, passed away November 15, 2017. He was born May 20, 1943 to Harold and Ethel.

Gordon enjoyed racing and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Gustav Balfanz and Ethel Maxine Balfanz Kline Bode; brother, Bill Balfanz; and sisters, Eunice Stegink, Audrey Axelson.

Gordon is survived by his children, Christine Nuijens, Clayton Nordquist (Jill), Brian Howard (Emmy), Tami Howard, Naomi Balfanz (Chris Carson), Raymond Balfanz (Heather Ruseng); grandchildren, Michael, Raymond, Amanda, Kjarra, Julia, Phoenix, Kieran, Karla, Ashley, Aundria, CJ, Richard, Keiana; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Madison, Mason, Aspen, Boston, Elana, McKenzie, Isabella, Annabeth, Axel, Ryder, Riley, Raiden, Willow, and one on the way; sister, Max Davis; brother, Kenny Balfanz (Kathy); half-siblings, Denise Rogers, Doreen Kline, George Kline (Cheri Sissy), Jon Kline; and many other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Oak Knoll Cemetery, 511 13th Ave N, Princeton, MN. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at the Princeton VFW, 133 N Rum River Dr, Princeton, MN.
