Gary Dahlheimer, 73, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and beloved wife, LuAnne, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Eleanor Dahlheimer and his brother, Mike Dahlheimer.
He is survived by his children, Cybil (Joe) Kolenda, Emily Stimmler, and Andrew (Tina) Dahlheimer; his grandchildren, Olivia, Drew, Ruby, Avery, Eli, Myles, Ayla and Gemma; his siblings, Mary Becker, Barb (Larry) Ende, and Don (Karen) Dahlheimer; his sister-in-law, Cherryl Dahlheimer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Gary was a longtime resident of Dayton and was formerly employed at South Side Lumber and Bury Co. while also serving his community for 30+ years as a volunteer firefighter.
Throughout his life, he was always willing to help friends and neighbors with projects.
Most of all, Gary and LuAnne enjoyed trips on the Harley, card games and campfires with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dayton. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.
