Frederick "Fred" Michael Rushin

Frederick “Fred” Michael Rushin, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. A man of laughter, loyalty, and deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, Fred left a legacy of warmth and humor that will live on in all who knew him.

Born on March 15, 1949, He is preceded by his parents, Edward and Beverly (Brown) Rushin. Fred is survived by his wife of 55+ years, Joann; son, Chad (Jennifer) Rushin; daughter, Andrea (Mike) Kucera; grandchildren, Griffin & Brady and Christian & Madison; siblings, Edward Jr., Michele, Connie (Armand), and Giselle; other family and friends.

Fred dedicated 45 years of his life to the printing industry, where his hard work and strong work ethic earned the respect of colleagues. His career was marked not just by skill, but by the countless friendships he formed along the way.

Outside of work, Fred found joy in the great outdoors. Whether casting a line on a quiet lake, trekking through the woods hunting deer, or unwinding at the cabin, he felt most at home surrounded by nature. These moments, often shared with family and friends, were filled with laughter and stories. 

Fred always had a willingness to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, there was never a project too big. Fred was known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor. Always ready with a joke or a funny story, he had an unmatched ability to make people laugh. His spirit brought light into every room he entered.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to share in his life. Though he may be gone, the memories of his laughter, kindness, and love for life will remain forever in our hearts.

There will be a Celebration of Life planned for the spring of 2026.
