Frank Wayne Pelley Jr.

89, passed away peacefully at Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River,
Minnesota. He finished his course, he kept his faith, and he is home with his Savior.

Frank was born December 13, 1931 on a Howard County, Iowa farm and raised on a Mitchell County, Iowa farm. He was a graduate of LeRoy (Minnesota) High School and the University of Minnesota.

Frank worked in marketing and sales with Chevron Chemical Company for 25 years winning many district and regional sales awards. He served on the school board in Urbandale, Iowa and enjoyed announcing Urbandale High School football, basketball, softball, and baseball games. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, farming, traveling, gardening, and serving on the Greeter’s Team at Crossroads Bible Church in Double Oak, Texas.

Frank was wise, generous, and a good neighbor. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Pelley, daughter, Gwen (Ward) Schmeidel, and grandchildren, Preston Schmeidel and Julia Schmeidel.

Interment will take place at McDivitt Cemetery in Urbandale, Iowa following a family graveside service.
