Florence Evelyn (Schert) Greer

Florence E Greer, 87 of Elk River, passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2019 at 10:14am while at Fairview Northland Medical Center Princeton Minnesota.

Born in Princeton, MN on January 31, 1931 she grew up and lived in Elk River all her life. She was a waitress, became a house wife and worked part time for the school also doing school census. She was involved in the VFW, Women’s Auxiliary, Bible Study and volunteered in many ways for the community. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, puzzles and reading. 

Married 69 years to Earl H Greer, they had 4 children; Linda, Cheryl(Jim), Chris and Russell(Theresa). They were blessed with 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Dare's Funeral Chapel, 805 Main Street - Elk River, on Wednesday, August 28th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 6:00 pm.
